QUIZNOS INSPIRES BURNING MAN PARODY WITH CAST OF “THE MAZE RUNNER”

Burning Man just ended, and that means that thousands of hours of aftermovie footage from Go Pros will soon be flooding the web. But before that, an unlikely cross promotion from Quiznos and the team behind The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials take an interesting look at the unique event that is Burning Man.
We don’t know why, but millennials are willing
to fork over tons of cash to attend an overcrowded festival in the middle of the desert.
Coachella was “Phase 1,” and Burning Man is apparently “Phase 2.” While the whole video rides the line between parody and reality, it never ceases to be entertaining. While Quiznos execs likely aren’t trying to subliminally influence burners with free sandwiches in exchange for back rubs, cuddle puddles 100% exist.

For all of you upset that you won’t be at Ultra Music Festival this year, don’t fret – Streaming website Twitch will be broadcasting the event which starts on Friday. Presented by 7UP, the entire festival will be available all three days onTwitch.tv/ultra. Though Twitch is traditionally an online community for gamers, the site has been gaining popularity for streaming live dance music events, including Jack Ü’s 24-hour broadcast earlier this month.  The programming will include streams and interviews from many of your favorite dance music stars on all Ultra stages, which include headliners like Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Bassnectar, Krewella, Tiesto, and so many more. In case you don’t want to sit at home all weekend watching, Twitch also has a app for viewing on the go.

tommorrowland gets $40,000 manor with butler

Tomorrowworld’s On-Site Camping Becomes Its Own Experience

Tomorrowworld just took festival camping to a completely new level. Along with their recent announcement of ‘Breakfast Beats’which entails hearty meals and drunken yoga, the U.S. Tomorrowland affiliate has introduced luxury camping into the mix. Dreamlodges apparently weren’t enough, as the electricity-capable, safari style lodges (with a patio) have been one-upped. Introducing the lavish Cabana cabins, which provide you with a plush mattress, linens, two beds, and access to the Montague Tent, which supplies massages and catered meals. I know what you’re thinking. “Eh, massages and private meals are great, but I want a 4-star hotel on-site.” Well you’re in luck! The Tomorrowworld Manors fulfill all the needs of the exorbitant festival-goer. With personal hot tubs, private bars, and butler service, each camp site treats you like a f*cking headliner. The entirety of the on-camping site, called Dreamville, is turning into a vacation spot of its own, with these insane amenities that take this experience a step too far.
As a frequent attendee of festivals, I personally enjoy the down-to-earth vibe of camping. With these kinds of ostentatious changes, you take away the togetherness and sensibility of the rave culture, and attract a pretentious crowd. Yes, we would all appreciate a hot tub and butler at our leisure, but those vibes definitely do not belong on the festival grounds. The festival is about music, so if you really need someone to bring you your drinks, go buy a hotel room somewhere else.

Armin Van Buuren Shares 30 Tracks He’ll Be Playing at Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland attendees get excited as the one and only Armin Van Buuren will be returning to the Belgium festival on July 25th for another beautiful main stage performance. To get his fans ready and prepared for what is sure to be a momentous occasion, Armin decided to create a 30 track playlist of songs he will “definitely play” during his Tomorrowland set. Now considering the amalgam of songs is around 1 hour and 50 minutes long, I’d wager that the playlist represents a majority of what Armin Van Buuren will play. Either way, whether you won’t be able to attend Tomorrowland or are in need of some good Trance, we’re sure you’ll enjoy this stellar collection of songs.
Prior to his Tomorrowland mainstage performance, Armin Van Buuren will continue to celebrate the 700th episode of his A State of Trance series, stopping in Buenos Aires, Miami and Utrecht. You can see the full lineups and information about each stop here:

Watch Ultra Music Festival’s Main Stage Being Built Live

Ultra Music Festival is almost upon us and with that comes the highly anticipated reveal of the design for its main stage. Much like Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival, Miami’s Ultra has year after year redesigned its ubiquitous main stage to the excitement of new and old attendees. This rebirth of sorts keeps the experience fresh for fans of the festival as the stage become increasingly intricate and memorable year after year. Like years past, you can actually watch the construction of the main stage live thanks to a webcam located on a nearby building which gives you a rather unparalleled view of the festival grounds. If you’re interesting in seeing the stage’s development you can go watch it here:

Zedd Beats Out Calvin Harris, Takes Top Spot On Dance Charts

Move over Calvin HarrisZedd is taking over

Zedd has had a fantastic start to 2015 and with all the buzz surrounding him, the numbers keep rolling in. Zedd and Selena Gomez’s new track “I Want You To Know” racked up 4 million streams last week alone, earning the duo the number 1 spot on Billboard’s Dance Charts.
It was an even split with 46% of the plays coming from Spotify and the rest from Vevo on Youtube. Zedd’s track has now knocked Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding’s track, “Outside”, off the number 1 spot which they held for several weeks.
